Age UK Richmond - Henry Moore at Kew Gardens

This summer, pieces by world-renowned sculptor Henry Moore are on display across Kew Gardens. Spanning the landscape in a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition, Henry Moore: Monumental Nature invites you to experience art, nature and scale like never before!

This is the world’s largest outdoor presentation of Moore’s works. The artworks span Kew’s entire 320-acre site, with each sculpture carefully positioned to respond to that specific area of landscape – just as Moore intended. The sculptures include some of Moore’s most iconic bronze pieces, including Large Two Forms, Sheep Piece, Oval with Points, Locking Piece and Reclining Woman: Elbow.  

Meeting point:  Victoria Gate, Kew Road, Richmond, TW9 3EG 

Time: We will enter the gardens at 11amCould you please aim to arrive between 10.30 - 10.45 so we are ready to go in at 11am.  We will need to go in as a group.

Date: Wednesday 5th August 2026

Optional meeting for lunch at 1pm at Victoria Cafe.

Cost: Free (but advance booking is essential) 
 
Transport links: By bus, route 65 stops close to Victoria Gate.  This bus stops at Ealing Broadway and Richmond Station.  Route 110 stops near Kew Gardens Station and Elizabeth Gate. Routes 237 and 267 stop at Kew Bridge Station. Kew Gardens station is 500m from Victoria Gate. It is in Zone 3 and is served by the District Line (Richmond branch) and the Mildmay Line. There is no level access from the westbound platform. It is possible to continue one stop to Richmond and catch a tube back to use the eastbound platform which does have level access.

There is lots to see at Kew apart from Henry Moore's sculptures including the Princess of Wales Conservatory, Davies Alpine House, Natural area, Carbon garden and many more sites.

Please Note: Kew Gardens is spread over a vast area, so you will have to walk around to enjoy the garden. You can hire a scooter to explore Kew Gardens. Visitors can also hop and off the Kew Explorer (costs £6.50) to go around the gardens.  The Kew Explorer route begins at Victoria Plaza.
