Age UK Richmond - 4-week Get Into Golf Course

The total cost for the 4-week course is £50, which includes coaching and the loan of all clubs and equipment. 

This course is aimed at people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond on Thames. If places sell out online, please join the Yapsody waiting list. 

About Strawberry Hill Golf Course: The course was designed in 1900 by JH Taylor, one of the pioneers of the modern game of golf.  Among his other achievements, he won the Open Championship five times, formed the PGA, and designed Royal Birkdale, still a regular Open venue. The course has remained largely unchanged since it was first laid out and still bears Taylor’s familiar hallmarks, including the small humps and hollows on several holes which look harmless and yet seem to come into play far too often. JH Taylor would be proud of the way his nine-hole gem has withstood the test of time - it remains a testimony to his skill as a great course designer.
