Age UK Richmond Talk: Funeral Planning

A free talk about planning funerals on 5 May at the Twickenham Wellbeing Centre, delivered by Jo, Funeral Director at Poppy’s Funerals in East Sheen.

Poppy’s puts bereaved families at the centre of the funeral experience, helping them create the right funeral rather than selling them unnecessary packages. Poppy’s are on a mission to bust myths around death, dying and funerals and to help people who wish to plan for the end of their lives. They also offer a free funeral wishes consultation service to help people start difficult conversations. There will be time to ask questions after the talk.

This talk is part of our free Peace of Mind Day. The event is aimed for people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond on Thames.  As well as listening to the free talks, attendees will also have time to speak with other local charities and organisations present on the day, offering further advice and literature on later life planning.
