Age UK Richmond - Trip to RHS Wisley Gardens (Non Members)
RHS Wisely Gardens - RHS Garden Wisley, Wisley Lane, Wisley, Woking, UK
RHS Garden Wisley is one of the world’s great gardens, packed with horticultural inspiration.
People visit RHS Wisley for so many reasons – to enjoy and learn about the renowned plant collections, to get advice and inspiration for their own gardens, to take part in workshops and events, to spend time with family and friends, and simply to relax among beautiful surroundings.
Wisley is the flagship garden of the RHS and one of the UK’s most visited and best-loved gardens, attracting around one million visitors each year. Some 75 garden staff, 25 students, four apprentices and 100 volunteers help make a day at Wisley an amazing experience for our visitors. The garden has expanded hugely over the years to its current size of 97ha (240 acres).
Wisley is all about inspirational gardening, rather than a museum of plants and conservation. There's always something new to excite and inspire. In particular, visit the Mixed Borders or Glasshouse Borders during summer and you'll be sure to get plenty of inspiration (and maybe a little envy). And a visit wouldn't be complete without stepping inside the spectacular Glasshouse, where you can take a journey around the world in plants.
